Lucas Valor Martin's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Lucas Valor Martin made his grand entrance into this world at 8:29 A.M. on February 1, 2023. He was 24 weeks and 4 days gestation at his birth. Weighing 1 lb and 4.1 oz and measuring 11.75 inches. He was welcomed by his Dad (Caleb), Mom (Juliann), and big brother (Deacon).
Although little Lucas' life was short, he amazed the doctors, nurses and everyone who knew him, with his strength and determination. We know that there was a purpose for his beautiful life, and we are so thankful for the time he spent here on earth. He was tiny, but oh so mighty, and the footprint he left on our hearts will live on forever. On March 9th, he left his tubes and wires behind and went to be with his Jesus.
Lucas spent his lifetime of 37 days in the NICU and Caleb and Juliann stayed vigilant by his side. There are many expenses that will need covered. The gas for travels to and from the hospital, food while staying there, the cost of the funeral and more. We would like to bless the Martins with financial help. Anything will make a difference! There is no gift too small.
We appreciate your love and pray that God will bless you for your giving. If you're not able to give financially, please share this with others! If you would like to read more of Lucas' story, you can find it at this link. https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lucasvalormartin
"Goodnight"
Goodnight my dear loved ones
It was not meant to be
I am now to live my life
In a land you cannot see
This land is very beautiful
All sunshine and no rain
Where everybody's healthy
And no one can feel pain
You see, Heaven like Earth needs children
To laugh and sing and play
To be loved by all around them
Bringing joy to every day
So now you know I'm happy
Growing up like you want me to
Please mention my name with a smile
And I'll send all my love to you
Remember I'll always be near you
For your child I'll always remain
So live your life knowing I care
And I'll be waiting when we meet again.
