Hi friends and family,

Malachi and I are so deeply grateful for the abundance of calls, messages, and comments we have received. As most of you know by now, we lost our dad, Troy Bodine, suddenly on Sunday night, July 6th. By God's grace, Malachi was able to spend a few hours with him earlier that day. Dad called me for a few minutes after Mal left, and I had the opportunity to tell him I loved him one more time. Neither my brother nor I knew that a few hours later he would be heading into the arms of Jesus.

My dad did not have much in the way of belongings or assets in the end, and with this sudden turn of events, there is a financial burden with making all of the necessary arrangements. Some of you may know that my family and I live across the country in North Carolina, and travel plays into this as well. After going back and forth with the decision, we finally decided to make a page to allow anyone to help contribute if you feel led.

Please know that monetary gifts are not expected. Thank you for being at our side with the outpouring of love as we deal with our loss. We know many of you loved him too.
