Ease the Burden for Sherry's Loved Ones

In October 2024, Mom (Sherry Bushey), was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. At this point it had already traveled to her bloodstream, was starting to attack her bones and was in her brain. Radiation, Chemotherapy and medications were tried, but Mom's body didn't handle the infusions and the cancer was too progressed. In Jan/Feb of this year she was brought back to our house to get extra care from Hospice and to be around her family. For 2 weeks we had our normal mom/grandma, but February 19th Mom went downhill. We suspect that she either had a stroke, seizure, or the cancer had progressed too far in her brain (or any combination of the 3) and she was very quickly loosing time and becoming less lucid. We lost her early that Sunday morning.
Loosing a loved one, either family or friend, is never easy and it's made even tougher for those left behind to wrap up loose ends and make sure all the ducks are in a row. Mom didn't have any life insurance, funeral insurance or end of life support that would help in tying things up. We're reaching out for help with those end of life expenses. Love to all.
