Ease the burden for Melissa

Hi all, I'm Linda Schofield I'm a friend of Melissa's, mother in law to her daughter Ashley, and a friend of the McClurg clan! Those of you who know Melissa know she is a quiet, hard working family oriented woman. Recently she was diagnosed with breast cancer which has metastasized into her spine. Melissa is in a great deal of pain which is only noticed by the occasional grimace or the fact that she sits more rather than being on the move all the time!

Melissa is unable to work due to pain, lack of appetite and just sheer exhaustion. I have met Melissa and most of the McClurg family and if you know them, or Melissa in particular, you know they are hardworking folks and this has been an incredible shock to the family.   

Melissa cannot work. It's almost criminal that at a time where you are fighting for your life you have to worry about affording treatment or paying bills. This is where we come in! Please, whatever little you can afford, please consider contributing to this fund so that we can reduce the worrying. Melissa will be commencing treatment this week, I will update the page as we hear.
