I am Mary and I am raising money for a beautiful family I’ve known for over 30 years. My friends Sherrie and Brian Baumgartner's son Jon, was in a terrible crash on September 15th in Sioux Falls South Dakota. After almost a week in the hospital, Jon succumbed to the injuries from that devastating night. Your donations here are for helping his wife Jodi with the living expenses and for his medical care. Please hold them all up in your prayers as well.

Jon will be so missed. He was a wonderful husband, girl dad, brother, son, grandson and friend to so many. He was also a very talented musician, upholsterer and the primary earner for his family.

He was riding his motorcycle and was hit by a drunk driver, going the wrong way on a one way street, with no lights on, and driving without insurance.

He was in emergency surgery for over 3 hours, and was in Neuro ICU for about 5 days, with Jodi and his parents and family there with him until the end.

In addition to your prayers, I am asking for funds to help reduce the burden of medical expenses for his family, and ease some of the trauma this family is suffering right now, and focus all their energy on healing their shattered hearts.
