Ease the Burden for Daniel and Stephanie

Hey y’all, we appreciate you taking the time to hear our brother’s story. Our brother, Daniel Standley aka Mr. Standley, Danny, Dan, Big D, was diagnosed with cancer in July.

Daniel has spent 48 years playing bass guitar while using his many talents to run a variety of businesses. Most recently, he has spent 20+ years learning and teaching focus through martial arts to a generation of young people. His positive influence has been felt by many, whether touched by his music, preparing young people for life through his dojo, or just hanging out with him. To us as siblings, he is and has always been the calm in life, always seeing the positive, always willing to listen and offer love.

Stage 4 bone cancer has left him unable to work or continue to share his love of music with us. He is currently on home hospice, being cared for by his loving partner, Stephanie. Many have asked how they can contribute or if there is anything they can do.

We are contributing to and asking those who can, to participate in this GoFundMe to ease the stress of rent and living expenses and let Danny & Stephanie focus on making every possible good memory over the next couple of months. All remaining funds will be used for a Celebration of Life and final expenses.

We ask for love, prayers, and good vibes to help us all through these next few months.
