Hello, my name is Jenifer, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my dear neighbor and friend, Christopher Toton, who recently passed away after a long, brave battle with cancer.

Chris was the most generous, kind, gentle, and loving person I have ever met. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, and he showed up for others even when he was quietly struggling himself. He never complained, never asked for help, and faced each day with quiet strength and grace. His warmth and selflessness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Chris's fight with cancer began in 2007, when he was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 cancer on the right side of his neck. He beat the odds once, but sadly, the cancer returned in 2022 as stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma in his right lung. Despite years of painful treatments and setbacks, he never gave up.

He devoted himself fully to his wife and his 7-year-old son, who were the center of his world. His greatest wish was to watch his son grow up, but tragically, that chance was taken too soon.

On top of his health challenges, Chris was burdened by overwhelming medical expenses, navigating difficult Medicare issues and out-of-pocket costs that placed a financial strain on his family. Now, his wife and son are left not only grieving but also struggling to cover the funeral costs.

I’ve created this fundraiser to ask for your help in honoring Chris’s life and supporting the family he leaves behind. All funds raised will go directly toward:
