On Monday August 4, 2025 our mother Stacey started having pain in the abdomen late afternoon. By 4am August 5, she went to the ER and we had found out her intestines have twisted due to old scar tissue from a previous hysterectomy.

This caused a bowel obstruction in which led to a crash in the Emergency room due to high stress on her heart as well as organ functionality declining. She was admitted to Hendrick North

Stacey will be undergoing surgery to fix the obstruction after multiple attempts of less invasive options have not worked.

Stacey is a self proprietor business owner which has caused her to take a major hit to her income/funds as she works for herself and has not been able to due to her admittance in the hospital.

Depending on what surgery is needed it can be major or laparoscopic. We are trying to help ease the stress and financial burden off of her as she has zero income coming in right now and for an undetermined amount of time post operation.

We want our mother to be able to recover knowing finances are taken care of and she doesn’t rush to heal correctly.
