If you know Nikki, you know what a big heart she has. She is always about helping her family & friends whenever they need. Now is our chance to help her.

 

Earlier this week, Nikki was diagnosed with renal failure & will be placed on dialysis. Dialysis is the process of removing excess water, solutes, and toxins from the blood in people whose kidneys can no longer perform these functions naturally. Dialysis is a treatment for people whose kidneys are failing. When you have kidney failure, your kidneys don't filter blood the way they should. As a result, wastes and toxins build up in your bloodstream. Dialysis does the work of your kidneys, removing waste products and excess fluid from the blood.

 

The funds received will immediately go towards her medical bills & help support her during FMLA. Before she can start dialysis, she needs a fistula. This will go in through a central line & eventually moved to her arm. This process will move fast to ensure her quality of life is maintained.
