Help Justin Win His Brave Battle Against Cancer
Hi, my name is Marisa, and I’m raising funds for my nephew Justin—the only son of my brother, Rainier. Justin is just 26 years old, and his journey over the past two years has been one of unimaginable strength, heartbreak, and resilience.
A Life Changed in an Instant
In March 2023, Justin underwent an orchiectomy to remove a cancerous testicle. We hoped that would be the end of it. But cancer had other plans.
• August 2023: A mysterious mass appeared in his abdomen.
• September 2023: A second surgery revealed the mass was tightly attached to a major artery in the retroperitoneal area. It couldn’t be removed.
• When Justin woke up and asked his mom, “Was it removed?” she had to painfully answer, “No, it’s still there.”
The Fight Intensifies
Although the biopsy showed the mass was non-cancerous, blood tests told a different story—cancer markers remained high. Doctors recommended a CT-guided aspiration and biopsy, but financial constraints delayed the procedure.
Justin, determined to help himself, went from one job interview to another. But the stress and delays only worsened his condition.
• January 2024: He began chemotherapy.
• Early 2024: His immune system weakened, and he was hospitalized with Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PTB).
• After recovering, he received devastating news: his employer could no longer keep him due to his health challenges.
⚠️ A New Threat in 2025
After enduring three rounds of chemotherapy and a difficult battle with PTB, Justin now faces a new and urgent challenge:
• A mass in his abdomen may be fueling the cancer’s growth.
• Even more alarming, doctors suspect a second, unrelated cancer may be developing elsewhere in his body.
• The cyst is attached to his aorta, making surgical removal extremely high-risk and requiring specialized care.
• A second line of chemotherapy may be necessary.
How You Can Help
Justin’s courage is unwavering—but he cannot fight this battle alone. Your support will help cover:
• Specialized surgery to remove the cyst
• Additional chemotherapy and medical care
• Recovery costs and living expenses during treatment
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Justin closer to healing. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world to our family.
From Our Hearts to Yours
Justin is more than a patient—he’s a son, a nephew, a friend, and a fighter. We believe in his strength, and with your help, we believe in his recovery.
Thank you for standing with us.
