Ease Erika’s Burden

Hello, My name is Vanessa and I’m writing in regards to my beautiful and strong Aunt Erika Andia. We recently have been given news of my Aunt’s health conditions of being diagnosed with a very aggressive mutation of Breast Cancer called BRCA1 Triple Negative. I’m fundraising to help relieve some of the burden for my Aunt while she goes through her cancer treatment. In the beginning of August 2021, my Aunt Erika had been diagnosed with stage II breast cancer when the mourning of my mother's death in April 2020 was still very fresh, as she was my Aunt's oldest sister. Right now it’s still very hard for her to deal with the loss of such a loved one and now she is dealing with the same battle but instead for herself. She started her chemotherapy treatments last week and is given very strong medicines to combat this disease. Her weekly treatments will continue for at least 6 months, this is and will be a lengthy battle for her body to fight.

During this time I am asking for any donations so that she can focus on her health and her three children. This is going to be a long journey for her and I’m asking anyone who can to aid us in elevating her worries and to help out with any financial burdens she may stumble upon.

For those who don’t know her, Erika is a single mother of three beautiful children. Two teenage girls and a son in college whom all depend on her for anything and everything. They definitely keep her on her toes at all times. Not only does she help her children but also her nieces, nephews, and parents. My brothers especially look up to her as a maternal figure. Also how could we forget Ace our family dog, he joined our family a few months after my mother’s passing last year.

I just wanna make sure she is stress free as much as possible during this long and difficult trek she has ahead of her. I ask for anything you can donate so my Aunt Erika can focus on herself and her health and her family which is already difficult for her as she puts everyone else before herself. I believe its time we begin to take care of her.
