Hi everyone,
I’m putting this together on behalf of someone who means the world to me – my mom. She’s preparing for her first hip replacement surgery, a common but tedious procedure that comes with weeks of recovery. While she’s more than ready to tackle the physical challenge, the financial burden continues to feel daunting.
My mom works part-time at Princeton Auto and teaches over 30 piano students at Pease Community Christian School and out of her home. She puts in many hours of work a week – teaching, encouraging, and supporting her students, who she genuinely sees as an extension of her own family. But because of her part-time status, she won’t receive any income during her recovery and doesn't qualify for any type of FMLA. This time away from work will make it difficult to keep up with bills, not to mention the medical expenses that are to come.
I know times are tough, and budgets are tight for many of us. Truly, there’s no expectation of reaching a huge goal – anything helps. Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this campaign, every bit of support makes a real difference.
She doesn’t know I’m doing this, and I hope this can be a small way to ease some of the stress she’s carrying. My only goal is to give her the time and space to heal without the extra weight of financial worry. (SO if you do share this on Facebook, just make sure you change the audience of it so she can’t see it share, click on the drop down where it says 'friends,' change to 'everyone except...').
Thanks so much for reading, supporting, or sharing – your kindness means more than you know!
