Earthship solution for pollution

Aloha friends,
What would you do if disaster struck and you could not rely on infrastructure to provide you with electricity, food, water or shelter? Is our infrastructure helping or hurting the earth?
We really live on such a beautiful planet. Many people are trying to be more eco friendly, which we need to be doing with flying colors if we want the earth to be in good shape for the generations yet to come. If you have not yet heard about earthships, these fascinating homes have everything we need to live sustainably on the earth. Using natural and recycled materials are one of their main features. Car tires are pounded with earth (or rubble) to create a foundation and thermal mass, cans and glass bottles are used to build the walls. This gives them unique character, while also recycling and leaving them resilient to earthquakes, typhoons, and other natural disasters. They produce their own electricity, have their own optimized water system collecting rain water and snow, complete with a contained sewage system which flows to the indoor/outdoor gardens to produce food. They truly breathe in harmony with the environment, emitting zero waste and living off the grid.
Another great thing is that the founder Michael Reynolds and his crew go all over the planet where disaster has struck (i.e. Haiti, Phillipines etc) and teach the locals how to build one to get back on their feet, be self sufficient, and withstand whatever is next.
I am blessed with the opportunity to attend Earthship Biotecture Academy June 1st. In order to pursue this new chapter in life I am leaving my job of over ten years, and also Hawaii which has been home. I am passionate about earthships and want to use all my love and strength to help change the planet!!
This fundraiser is intended for tools, tuition, housing and materials to support earthships and myself as I start this new chapter in life. I can't wait to share videos and updates with you all! This is a beautiful way to make changes in our society! Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly with all my heart for all the love and support. Peace and Aloha ❤️
