Earthquake Reconstruction Mexico

EARTHQUAKE MEXICO
Our Southern Neighbor is mourning but not ruined, they are hurting but not destroyed, Mexico is in pain but remains strong and with unity and solidarity they will thrive. The #FuerzaMexico Movement is making an impact through Central Mexico and the big metropolitan areas but more help is still needed for the rural areas. The most powerful earthquake in 100 years that stroke in early September 2017 with a magnitude of 8.1 and the 7.1 earthquake that hit on September 19th have leveled many small towns in Central Mexico, particularly small towns in the state of Morelos. Most of the help is going to Mexico City and the big metropolitan areas but we need your help so we can reach the most devasted rural areas where limited private and governmental institutions are providing assitance.

WHO WE ARE
This fundraiser is being organized by Luis Daniel Roque from HIS Capital Group, a Real Estate Developer and Investor with operations in Florida and California, US. Born in Mexico City, Luis Daniel Roque experienced the powerful earthquake of 1985 that left over 10,000 casualties and a devastated city.  Luis' childhood friends have volunteered to help the most devasted rural areas in Central Mexico and with a strong network of real estate professionals, we project to raise $10,000 that can make a difference to local families in rural Mexico.

TETELA DEL VOLCAN MORELOS
Tetela Del Volcan means "place of rocks" in Nahuatl and it is a small town and municipality in the Mexican state of Morelos. The municipality reported a little over 16,000 inhabitants since 2000 and many homes including the local monestary, the plaza and other structures have been damaged with the latest seismic activity from the surrounding area. Its convent along with other nearby monasteries nearby have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and need to be reinforced, repaired and others rebuilt.

CURRENT CHALLENGE
People from the surrounding areas have stepped out to attend these small towns with food, water and shelter. The challenge being faced now is the lack of construction materials needed for locals rebuild their towns and homes. 100% of your contribution will be used to purchase construction material that will be used to rebuild the town and homes for the locals but most importantly their spirit of hope shown with our solidarity from thousands of miles away.

URGENCY AND COMMITMENT
Timing is of the essence and there are many obvious reasons why.  There is a scarcity of shelter and what serves as shelter for now is only temporary and as time passes by the temporary shelter will not remain. Homes must be rebuilt as soon as possible and the biggest need is the construction material. People have donated food and water but the biggest resource needed is construction material that will be utilized to repair, reinforce and rebuild the local communities. Another factor to take into consideration is the hype of help. The hype of local help from people coming from surrounding areas has to be utilized in order to rebuild as much as possible within the fastest possible time. This tragedy has united local people but timely action will make the biggest difference in order to restore what was lost from the horrible devastation created by this natural disaster.  Our commitment is to the people in these local rural areas, to rebuild as much as possible of what was lost and to make sure that 100% of the funds from this campaign are used for this particular purpose.

THANK YOU
A shovel and a bag of cement can be purchased for approximately $15 USD.  Other construction equipment and construction material can be purchased for less than $10 USD and rapidly make an impact to those in need. We thank you for considering this cause and for your help in giving hope to those in this time of need that have been physically and emotionally shaken in our neighboring country of Mexico.

Thank you for uniting to #FuerzaMexico and playing your part as a wonderful neighbor.
