Earthquake Solidarity Fund - BC, Canada

Early on Feb. 6, 2023, twin earthquakes of magnitudes 7.8 and 7.5 struck Turkey and Syria. Over 35,000 are confirmed dead, tens of thousands remain under the rubble, and millions are struggling to survive under severe weather conditions, most without shelter and basic necessities. Despite profound challenges, search and rescue teams are working around the clock in the region.

Now for the survivors, there are fears that the catastrophe is about to worsen amid a deadly lack of sanitation.

We are residents of British Columbia from Turkey concerned about the massive crisis unfolding in our country of origin. We aim to raise funds to support local organizations mobilizing to address the immediate needs of the survivors. Your donations will be directed toward providing essential supplies such as tents, sleeping bags, portable toilets and medical equipment.
