Help Venezuela Recover After the Devastating Earthquakes
On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.1 and 7.5 in magnitude struck Venezuela just seconds apart, causing catastrophic destruction across the country. Caracas, La Guaira, and surrounding communities were among the hardest hit. Entire buildings collapsed, neighborhoods were devastated, and rescue teams continue searching through the rubble as the number of victims continues to rise.
Thousands of families have lost loved ones, homes, and everything they worked their entire lives to build. Many have been displaced overnight and are now facing the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding with little or nothing left.
This tragedy comes at a time when many Venezuelans were already struggling through years of economic hardship. Limited access to reliable public services, healthcare, and essential resources makes recovering from a disaster of this magnitude even more difficult. For countless families, losing a home means losing everything.
As a Venezuelan living abroad, I felt compelled to help. This fundraiser was created to bring our community together in support of those whose lives have been devastated by these earthquakes. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help provide emergency relief for those affected. The funds raised will support trusted relief efforts providing:
- Food and clean drinking water.
- Medical supplies and emergency care
- Temporary shelter
- Essential household items
- Assistance for families who have lost their homes and loved ones.
The days immediately following a disaster are often the most critical. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide urgently needed support to families facing an unimaginable situation.
Transparency and accountability are extremely important to me.
These funds are going to be donated to the Caritas Venezuela (@caritasdevzla), Direct Relief (@directrelief) & We Love Foundation (@welove_foundation).
