A powerful earthquake has struck Myanmar and neighbouring regions, leaving devastation in its wake. Communities are in crisis, and the full extent of the damage is only just beginning to emerge.

Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) has always responded to disasters, even in the most challenging circumstances. While we don't normally operate in central Myanmar, we are already assessing how best to support those affected—whether directly, or through trusted local grassroots organisations with access to the hardest-hit areas.

We know from experience that time is critical. That's why we're launching this emergency appeal now. Every donation will help us act quickly—whether it's providing emergency medical aid, supplies, or supporting partners on the ground.
