Earthquake relief for Blue Marlin

Hello all past, present, and future members of the Blue Marlin Family
As you know, on Sunday night we experienced a magnitude 7.0 earthquake with the epicenter not far from the Gili islands.
Unfortunately, many people have not only lost their businesses but also their lives. Many of our local staff have been left homeless and with limited access to food and water. It is our goal to be able to support them and help them to rebuild their homes and look after their families as much as we possibly can. Donations will be used to rebuild houses and provide immediate care such as food, water and medical supplies.
Luckily, the Blue Marlin Dive team is safe. We have all relocated to Bali for the time being. We hope to go back to the island next week when we can start receiving supplies to begin the rebuilding process.
Fortunately, our facilities at Blue Marlin have minimal damage, but we cannot be up and running until all of our staff have taken care of their families affected.
We will do our best to keep everyone informed on the status of the island through our FB and Email.
If you have an upcoming trip in August, please cancel your booking and we will waive all cancellation fee. For those of you who need refunds, please be patient with us and we will try to sort everything out as quickly as possible alternatively if you would like to give your deposit as a donation please email us and the money will go towards helping our local staff rebuild their lives.
Unfortunately GoFundMe is not able to transfer money directly into an Indonesian bank account where it would be best used we have contacted GoFundMe about this and following their advice all money in this account will be transferred into a personal account owned by Luke Cresswell and then transferred Via Paypal to the Blue Marlin Paypal account. It will then be withdrawn by the Blue Marlin managers Fiona Smith and Ondrej Gomola. Immediate funds will be used for emergency relief we will be buying supplies here in a Bali since resources are limited in Lombok and then placed on a boat to Lombok our first boat leaves on Friday. This boat will be met by our ground team in Lombok who will collect the supplies and are curently driving around distributing them to our staff and their families. The remaining funds will be distributed to our staff to supply building materials so they can rebuild their homes.
