I have been in contact with a family in Cebu, Philippines that I was very very close to when I lived there. They are like a second family to me. As you may or may not know, the Northern part of Cebu was the site of a majorly destructive 6.9 magnitude earthquake. They live in Medellin, right at the epicenter. They lost their homes (25 family members and close friends), as did about 400+ others there. Everyone has been forced to exist outside, sleeping in tents, on blankets, and/or on the ground, with very little to eat and drink.

I know times are tough money-wise for many with the current state of things. Job scarcity and the ever increasing cost of living, but if you could spare $1, $5, $10, anything, it could feed and provide water to them and others upended by this terrible disaster. Most of whom are older and children. Any $ that can be donated, no matter the amount, will supply them and others with rice, canned goods, and water. The funds will go to me and then will be sent directly to the families there who were affected.

The amount I set for this fundraiser is just a number. Anything below the goal helps and anything above it helps greatly.
