Earthquake Emergency Relief - Turkey & Syria

Early Monday morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 hit Turkey and Syria, killing more than 2,200 people and injuring thousands more. Residential buildings and infrastructure have been destroyed, devastating many families during the harsh winter season.

The people of Syria, a war-torn country, described the earthquake as a ‘dark hole’ for the people remaining in Syria since the beginning of the war over a decade ago. Meanwhile, Turkey is experiencing the highest death toll from an earthquake since 1999.
