Growing hope - EarthChild Garden Fundraiser

We’re planting seeds to cultivate a new generation of eco warriors and change makers!

In Cape Town’s biggest township, children seldom leave the harsh environment of high unemployment rates, gangsterism and drug and alcohol abuse. They grow up with no experience of nature.

We, the EarthChild eV, are teaming up with Earthchild Project and Urban Harvest in South Africa, to turn bare earth into a green, fertile oasis, where children can learn to plant, grow and harvest their own food and enjoy a green space where they can be quiet and at peace.

In our mission to help children connect to themselves, cultivate a love of nature and inspire a new generation of leaders, our next big adventure is building a living classroom and food garden at Ntwasahlobo Primary School in Khayelitsha.

Our target of 50 000€ will sponsor the set up and maintenance of a large organic food garden which will supplement 1000 children’s meals per day, as well as provide environmental education for 3 years!
