From his wife:
I met Jeff on a movie set, and from that moment, I knew he was someone special. He was so rad, and I loved him with all my heart. In his younger years, he was rough and tumble, full of adventure, and he loved to surf. We were devastated when he became ill, but we always held onto hope that he would get better. Jeff was only 66. He was a son, a brother, a father, a husband, big Jeffy, and most of all, Poppa.
From his daughter:
My dad to me was and is eternal. His presence and energy was profound. He was a beautiful tragedy, the kind they write stories about. His life was never easy, but he never stopped loving with his whole heart. I always always knew how much he loved me. Some of his last words to me was that he was proud. He was surrounded by those he loved most in this world when he crossed over. And we are devastated to have lost him so soon. His greatest joy in life was being a grandpa. I promise to continue his legacy with his granddaughter and teach her all the lessons learned from him. He is so incredibly missed. The fractures of us will remain worthwhile scars earned from loving so hard. Ill cherish the memories until we are togther again. I love you papa.
