The Earthlodge Center for Transformation
2nd Annual End of the Year Fundraiser - 2019
Earth Dome and Compost Toilet Project

Beloved community,
Final Phase Fundraising for Earthlodge Begins Now!

Hey Beloved Community,

This is Giving Wednesday!

Here is our second annual end of the year fundraising appeal that will go directly to the completion of our ambitious Earth Dome and Compost Toilet Construction build to commence, January 2020.

Our goal of $6000 will put us over the finish line!
We need your donations now more than ever!

You should be proud, here is how we put your funds to work:

Highlights of Our Historic Community Earth Dome/Toilet Compost Build

- We provided FREE construction training and transferable skills-building to over 50 volunteers, including at-risk youth, trans/queer/gnc and women
- We built solidarity with Queer communities in Puerto Rico who came to help!
- We set up work exchange with seasoned Earth Dome builders in our region
- We fed and accommodated 50 volunteers for 20 days
- We provided environmental education to marginalized peoples
- We raised $2600 from our community to launch us
- We received a small mini-grant from Resist! Foundation to help w food cost
- We created new paradigms of work encouraging the healing engagement of elders, children and culture keeping throughout construction

Your donations will give us the momentum we need to do the following:
- Transportation expenses for our Lead Team member
- Material supplies/equipment for construction completion
- Food shopping and preparation for community meals
- Compost Toilet supply reimbursements

In these troubled times we must imagine and build ourselves a new world where Healing and Sanctuary is at the forefront of our living. Let us sustain balance with the Earth and one another!
