We’re a group of bachelor students studying film at SAE University College. We’re making our final capstone film; A piece that we can take to potential employers to demonstrate our filmmaking skills.

Our story is a cheesy, 70s style, sci-fi epic, that follows the journey of Captain Alec: An overconfident space commander that is willing to put the lives of his crew at risk, all for the sake of fame.

Our story is a metaphor for ambitious creatives who thought they could easily replicate the success of films like Star Wars.

The funds raised go directly towards the film, including props, costume, sets, and practical effects - a return to classic filmmaking before A.I.

The success of this film will mean we can submit it to festivals, where we, as students, can kickstart our careers as creatives.
