My name is Earl Keel, and I'm a Vietnam Veteran who served two tours of duty. I've recently been diagnosed with a rare form of Macular Degeneration -- for which there is no cure currently available.
The Stem Cell Ophthalmology Treatment Study (SCOTS) is my only hope of stopping this disease, improving my eyesight, & living out a full life with my wife, children, & grandchildren.
The SCOTS program is a Clinical Trial that evaluates the use of autologous bone marrow derived stem cells (BMSC) for the treatment of retinal and optic nerve damage or disease. The link below provides additional information on this program from the clinicaltrials.gov website:

Since SCOTS is still in the clinical trial phase, insurance programs do not cover the cost of the progrm. Therefore, I'm humbly asking for your support. Your generosity will not only help improve my eyesight, but also countless others who may be afflicted by Macular Degeneration.
