Hi everyone,
My name is Crystal, and I’m asking for help because my husband, Earl, is in the fight of his life. This nightmare came out of nowhere. He went to bed the night before completely normal — no pain, no fever, nothing at all.By the next morning, everything had changed. Earl woke up in severe pain, so intense he thought his leg was actually broken even though he hadn’t done anything to it. At first, I thought maybe he slept on it wrong… until the fever hit.Within minutes, his temperature spiked out of nowhere to over 103°, and I knew something was terribly wrong. I rushed him to the hospital, terrified we wouldn’t make it in time. Later, the doctors told us that if we had been even a few minutes later, he might not have survived.Since then, Earl has almost died twice. He’s been on nonstop IV antibiotics while the medical team works around the clock to stop the infection from spreading. Watching someone you love go through this — watching their body change so fast, watching them fight to stay conscious — it’s something I’ll never forget.I’m sharing these photos so people can understand how suddenly and aggressively this infection attacked him. He went from perfectly normal to fighting for his life in a matter of hours.Earl has been in the hospital for over a week and a half, unable to work. And even while he’s lying in a hospital bed fighting to stay alive, he’s worrying about bills, rent, and how fast he needs to get back to work. That stress is weighing on him heavily.Your help doesn’t just support us financially — it gives Earl peace of mind. It lets him focus on healing instead of panicking about how we’re going to survive once he’s discharged. If we had even a little financial cushion, he could rest, recover, and fight this infection without the fear of losing everything waiting for him at home.what we need help with basic bills, gas to get back and forth to the hospital,
Food and essentials.Medical costs that are already piling up.
How Your Support Helps
Your donation — no matter the amount — gives us a lifeline. It helps keep a roof over our heads while Earl recovers. It helps me stay by his side. And most importantly, it gives Earl the mental space to focus on getting better instead of worrying about how fast he needs to get back to work.
Your support means hope in the middle of the scariest moment of our lives.
Thank You
