Revelation 21:4 - He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

 

My father, Earl Johnson Jr., unexpectedly passed away and it has left a void that cannot be put into words. Like a thief in the night, God in his infinite wisdom saw my father was growing tired and came to offer him eternal rest. As he reached out his hand to leave his physical body and return to his heavenly reward, my father began his transition on Sunday, October 10, 2021. My father was a proud member of the U.S. Navy and served his country with pride. My father was loved not only by his battle buddies, but also by his children, cousins, and friends.

 

At present, we are in need of assistance in covering the cost of his funeral services. We were able to verify that he is eligible for burial in the Veteran's cemetery. Our goal is to provide our father with a respectful and honorable home going service. Many of our loved ones have expressed and inquired about how they can help our family during our time of bereavement. I am requesting if possible that we all come together as loved ones to honor my father's legacy by donating towards the finalization of his funeral services, prayers, and outreach.

 

Some of you may not be aware, but at the passing of my father we were in the beginning of rebuilding our relationship. God decided that what was left unfinished must remain. . . The only recourse I have at present to show that I am doing my best as his daughter is to lay him to rest. It will allow me to render my final act of love to my father.
