If you know me or Carlos, you know that our greatest love is our baby Earl Grey. We took Earl Grey to the vet with new weight loss and hair loss. The vet was thinking allergies or anxiety but still did a full work up. Unfortunately that work up showed that there is something going on with his kidneys. His kidney values were elevated and he presented with electrolyte abnormalities. We’re currently at the animal hospital with him getting fluids, imaging, and additional work up. He will be staying here for the next few days through Christmas for intensive care. As this was not something we would expect, this is going to be a very expensive process even with pet insurance. Any help is greatly appreciated.
