Hello my name is Sharon Revels,as a disabled mother relying on social security benefits I am at my wits end financially. I have exhausted my payday loan options and "borrowed from Peter to pay Paul", traveling back and forth from Lancaster, California to Los Angeles,California to be by my son side. On October 14,2023 my son Earl Callier was going through a mental health crisis on the street of 6 th and Spring in downtown LA "skid row" and was gunned down /shot three times (we believe in the back ) by LAPD. My son was provided minimal to no medical attention on the scene, with his hands cuffed behind his back thrown on a gurney like a slab of beef. The Los Angeles Sheriff's department has had him for 11 days and with my son still in the hospital fighting for his life. They have constantly refused me access to

my son, who is still to this date in the hospital with his guts hanging wide open. The courts opted to cancel his much needed surgery the day after LAPD's attempted murder, in order to get an arraignment despite him being on a gurney with bullets still in him. I am absolutely mortified and gutted that my son is going through this and Im in disabelief the lack of human decency. I have been sleeping in my car while my back permits it or sleeping sitting up in a chair at my daughter-in-law's house when I'm able because I do not have the financial means to pay for hotel lodging. I don't know what else to do except turn to family, friends and the community. The only thing I know certainly is that I absolutely cannot leave my son without knowing if he's okay. If you have it in your heart and have the financial capacity,please in Jesus name help me travel/stay in LA to stand by my son's side. If you do not have the financial means I definitely understand, I do however believe that even myself is still alive after two heart attacks by only God's grace and the prayers of people who love me.
