Eamon’s fight against brain cancer.
The Rodriguez family is facing an unimaginable journey. On January 18th, after experiencing severe headaches and vomiting, 8-year-old Eamon was brought to the emergency room. That day, doctors discovered a 4 cm brain tumor. On January 19th, Eamon underwent surgery to remove the tumor.
After weeks of testing, the family received devastating news on February 5th that Eamon had been diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
In just one week, Eamon will begin intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments as he bravely fights this disease.
While these treatments offer hope, they also bring significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges for the family.
Eamon’s dad, Wil, is a retired NYPD Sergeant who dedicated his career to serving and protecting his community. His mom, Katie, works as a freelance event producer and planner and is now focused fully on supporting her son through treatment and recovery. Eamon is also a loving big brother to his 6-year-old sister, Isla, who stands by his side with endless love as their family navigates this difficult time together.
Eamon is a bright, joyful 8-year-old who loves all things basketball, the NY Knicks, video games, and spending time with his friends.
This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial strain during this incredibly challenging period. Donations will go directly toward Eamon’s medical expenses, ongoing treatments, hospital stays, travel to and from appointments, and everyday needs so the family can focus fully on his care and recovery.
Any donation, no matter the size, and every share of this page helps lift some of the burden during this journey. Most importantly, the Rodriguez family welcomes your prayers, love, and support as Eamon faces treatment with courage and strength.
