Eakins Family - The Ineloquent - Marshall Fire
Donation protected
When my sister, Georgiana and her husband Daniel, moved to Romania for an unknown period of time, they packed up all of their personal belongings and valuables in a 5x8 trailer parked on the property of Daniel’s grandfather in south Boulder, Colorado. Aside from a few suitcases of clothes and a guitar that they took with them to Romania, all of their belongings were in that trailer.
Sadly, the trailer was burned by the Marshall Fire that swept through the neighborhood on December 30th. Firefighters worked hard all night to save Daniel’s grandfathers house, but unfortunately they could not spare the trailer from the flames.
Surely it’s devastating for Daniel and Georgiana to know that all of their belongings and everything they had left in America is now gone. They lost all of their pro audio equipment from their days of touring in the US with their band The Ineloquent. Speakers, subwoofers, mixers, microphones, instruments, cables, lighting equipment and studio equipment have all been totally destroyed.
The most precious things lost are sadly the most irreplaceable, like scrapbooks full of memories, photos, a large collection of Georgiana’s original artwork and paintings, antique family heirlooms, a library worth of books, computer hard drives, and all kinds of other sentimental items.
Unfortunately we can’t help them replace all the memories, heirlooms, photos and personal belongings, but we’d love to come together to at least help them replace some of the equipment they lost and maybe help them purchase some of those things for The Ineloquent to use in Romania and beyond.
Anything helps and will certainly be such an encouragement to them. Thank you for your generosity!
