Help me raise money for the British Heart Foundation❤️

Hi, my name is Aimee Halstead and I’m going to be running the AJ Bell half marathon in October for the British Heart Foundation. A month ago, I was getting ready to run the 10K at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, excited to have my parents there to support me. But on the morning of the run, everything changed—my dad suddenly collapsed and was rushed to hospital. We were shocked to find out he had a serious heart condition called aortic stenosis, and he would need open heart surgery and a valve replacement. It was an incredibly scary and emotional time for our family, as the possibility of losing your dad is one of the scariest thoughts I’ve ever had. That experience has made me even more passionate about raising money for the British Heart Foundation. This amazing charity funds life-saving research into heart and circulatory conditions, helps improve diagnosis and treatment, and supports patients and families going through the most difficult moments of their lives. I'm fundraising in honour of my dad and to help others who may face the same sudden, life-altering events. Any donations—big or small—would mean the world and make a real difference.
