The Cubbyhole Bar is reaching out to our extended family for a little bit of help. Like so many of us, we had to abide by the order of the state of New York, in their efforts to combat this virus, and shut our doors on, 3/16. Although, absolutely necessary for the greater good and health of our community, we are small, without a kitchen.
Take out/delivery is not an option, resulting in 100% loss of income for the bar and staff. With no clear indication of when this will end, we worry for our future.
The indelible specialness of this little corner bar cannot be overstated. For 27 years it has been for many, a treasure chest of memories, an old friend you may not have seen in a while, but you assumed would always be there. A neighborhood fusion, where everyone is welcome all the time.
So, on behalf of the bar, bartenders, and staff, we turn to you, our friends, our neighbors, our community, and family, and humbly appeal to your generosity. To ask that you be part of the bridge that helps us over this difficult time.
Thank you, please be careful, and stay healthy. Lets get through this together, so we can all meet for a drink again at The Cubbyhole.
