Update: Thank you SO much for all of the generous donations so far. ALL of the funds raised will be applied to travel costs to World Championships for the team!
FRC Team 2073 is a Robotics Team from Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. The students build a new robot every year to meet the new season's challenge. This is an after-school program that helps students gain technical knowledge as well as life skills such as communication and leadership.
From March 30th - April 1st, we attended the Aerospace Valley Regional tournament in Lancaster, CA. At the conclusion of the qualifier matches we were ranked 5th out of 36 teams, and through alliance selection we ended up as the 3rd Alliance Captain.
Through the elimination rounds, we made it to the Finals, and earned our ticket to the World Championships in Houston, Texas. We will be competing in Houston from April 19th - April 22nd, alongside 700+ teams from all over the world.
To travel to Houston, there are major expenses for students as well as tool and robot transportation costs.
We are aiming to raise at least $5,000 to help offset student travel costs. The more we raise, the lower the cost will be for our students.
