My name is Billy from Boy Scouts Troop 4 located in Brookhaven, NY. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project to build a new habitat for Chimney Swifts and restore the surrounding meadow with native grasses and flowers.

Historically, Chimney Swifts have nested in hollow trees, but as many forests have been cleared for development, their population has sadly been on the decline. In order for these birds to survive and thrive, they need suitable low-light vertical spaces for roosting and nesting. Please consider helping our conservation effort to help this beautiful bird!
