My name is Kailen Thompson. I am a junior at Simsbury High School and currently working on my Eagle Scout rank with Troop 1175. For my Eagle Project, I'm restoring Sweetheart Pond, located behind the high school. The goal is to clear the invasive species around the pond, improve water quality, and educate the community about the importance of wetland environments.

I'm raising money for a solar-powered bubbler to increase oxygen and movement within the water, which will support the reintroduction of fish into the pond. Additional funds will be used for mulch, clearing supplies, and building materials for signage.
