Eagle Project Fundraiser by Andy Thomas
Donation protected
My name is Andy Thomas and I am a Life Scout in Troop 122 in Belton, TX. I began my scouting career while a 1st grader at Lakewood Elementary. I was a member of Pack 117, where I earned my Arrow of Light. I am currently a Sophomore at Lake Belton High School and am in the marching and concert band playing the tuba and in jazz band playing the bass trombone. I am working towards becoming an Eagle Scout. Scouting has been a big part of my life, I have loved camping across Texas, Oklahoma, Philmont, sleeping on the USS Lexington, hiking and participating in holding the American flag at a NASCAR race during the national anthem and many other adventures. One of the Eagle Scout rank requirements is developing, planning, fundraising and executing a service project. For my Eagle Project, I am excited to build and install a little free library and bench by the walking bridge that connects the sidewalk on Weatherford Drive at the Campus at Lakewood Ranch neighborhood to Lakewood Elementary. I had the honor of helping my brother build the bridge for his Eagle Project and I am excited to have the little free library and bench by it for students and families to use for years to come. Please consider donating towards the purchase of materials required to complete this project. Any and all donations will be appreciated. Donations over and above the amount required will be given to the beneficiary, Lakewood Elementary.
