Hi! My name is Elaine Pusey and I am the writer/director of a short film called Well Needed. I wrote a narrative story about a queer couple working on their passion while navigating the ups and downs in their relationships. To be transparent, I struggled to allow myself to share this story because it touches me close to home. I struggled to share my sexuality but putting characters in my art helped me persevere that fear I had of what others would think. Although the main plot is loosely based on my past relationship experience, I am so proud of what I have accomplished. Well Needed became my passion project for the past 6 months since I fully committed to sharing my story. I intend to share Well Needed at film festivals in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. Your support would enable me to enter film festivals and get to the festivals in person should I win! Film Festival's entry cost ranges between $35-$110, then travels and board for the different locations range between $200-$1500. Your support means the world to me, and anything helps.
