Emily Blackburn Memor. Scholarship

Emily Blackburn graduated from Kingwood High School in 2006. She played softball from the time she was a little girl and went to Oklahoma State University on a softball scholarship. Emily was at OSU for two years when she transferred to University of Texas San Antonio. She played for the Roadrunners and had dreams of one day becoming a counselor. Those dreams were cut short by a drunk driver on September 12, 2010.
Emily had a vibrant personality and a smile for everyone she met. She had a passion for softball, laughing and life that few will ever know.
Please support the Emily Blackburn Memorial Scholarship Fund to keep the memory of Emily alive, remind people to NOT drink and drive, and help students pursue thier college dreams. Multiple scholarships will be presented in the years to come to Kingwood/Kingwood Park High School college-bound Seniors who play softball, so that they may follow thier dreams, pursue their goals and "ALWAYS BELIEVE."
