Hello, my name is Midori. I have recently completed my last year of my undergraduate university degree in Zoology in the UK, which allows me to apply for the Graduate Visa to extend my time in the UK in search of work. As some of you may know, I have been working very hard to make ends meet this past year while balancing school and work, and I thank everyone for their past support and contributions! I am currently working as hard as I can to save up money for the visa on my own, but my current job has recently had to reduce hours due to failing to meet sales quotas, so I am afraid I will not be able to reach the amount I need without help. I have not had much opportunity to make any serious headway in saving much money towards my visa, as I will also need to find new accommodation once my lease terminates in a few weeks. This visa would allow me to remain in the UK for two more years in search of a job sponsor that could lead to settlement status. As many of you know, it is my dream to work in animal conservation to help make a difference in the world, and I would like to do that in a place where I have already formed many meaningful connections and networks that could help me go further in achieving this dream. Returning home to the US would make this dream difficult, especially as the current administration has cut funding to various research and environmental programs I could have potentially found work in. It is difficult and frustrating to have to turn and ask for help, but if do not reach my goal by the beginning of October I will have to return home due to my current student visa expiring and I will be completely ineligible for the graduate visa as a result. I do not want to let all of my hard work these past few years amount to nothing, so I'm left with no choice but to seek out help. Any amount at all will help and be tremendously appreciated and go directly towards my visa! Please help me in reaching my dreams! Thank you so much!
