Hi my name is Matthew Babcock and I am a musician from Albuquerque, New Mexico with a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney Australia!! I play the French horn in the Albuquerque Youth Symphony and I am asking for your donation to get to Australia in the summer of 2019.  

I am a sophomore and an honor student at Cibola High School. I play in the marching band, symphonic band, wind symphony. I also play the piano, trumpet and mellophone. In 2018 I was selected for APS Honor Band and in 2019 the NMSU Southwest Honor Band. 

The Albuquerque Youth Symphony will have the opportunity to attend a few classes in an Aussie High School, perform three concerts including one at the Sydney Opera House and participate in a “Service to Humanities” program, which gives back to the less fortunate.   

This is a major educational and cultural opportunity for me and the Youth Symphony Program. Performing in this historic venue is a dream of mine and I would be forever grateful for your help.
