There are no words to express the gratitude from Bob, Leslie, and Emily for your support and generosity from the last Team Croslin fund. A "thank you" just doesn't seem to cut it. You relieved so much of their financial stress. They appreciate you so much.
Please bear with us as we write this post. It is with heavy hearts, we are back again to ask for your support and generosity. Bob and Leslie would never ask you themselves, which is why we are doing it for them.
Bob has shared in a recent Facebook post, "This is hard to write but here goes: I’m headed back to Moffitt Cancer Center. My bone marrow biopsy showed I’ve relapsed and the leukemia is back."
He has been hospitalized at Moffit Cancer Center. His chemo has already begun. Leslie and Emily will be by his side at all times. Their strong family unit is an example to us all.
In addition, they will be searching for a donor for a stem cell transplant. It will be at least four months in the hospital, unable to work.
When he is able to get the transplant, Leslie and Bob will need to relocate to an apartment near the hospital for two months of outpatient care. Leslie will need to take care of Bob 24/7.
It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since it all began, but like you, we know how strong Bob is, and we believe he can beat this. Bob's job right now is to fight this cancer. Leslie's job is to be his support. This is a painfully long process, which you understand means that their income will be minimal, if non-existent.
Please give what you can to support them during this time of need.
