On 17th September 2025, Sandra Murison will proudly carry the Baton of Hope as it comes to Norwich, part of the UK’s largest-ever suicide prevention initiative.

The Baton of Hope was created to inspire change, break the silence, and bring communities together to help prevent suicide. It’s a movement born from tragedy, driven by courage, and fuelled by hope. In 2023, the baton travelled the UK, sparking vital conversations; and in 2025, it's Norwich’s turn to be part of this powerful journey.

Sandra is honoured to be taking part in memory of her much-loved nephew Jack. She carries the baton not only to honour Jack’s life, but to raise awareness and support for all those affected by suicide.
