Hi everyone-
I’m starting a GoFundMe page for one of my good friends Lena Lu, as she was walking in Uptown around 11:50pm Saturday night & was shot in an uncomfortable area leading to a bullet in her groin. As of right now, the doctors aren’t going to surgically remove the bullet until she heals from the current pain she is experiencing. She will be out of work for a good chunk of time until she is healed and will probably be bombarded with tons of medical bills. Please help and donate if you are able!
Update: Lena is at home recovering. Still bed ridden for the most part but has been able to get out and do small tasks on foot! Her mobility is improving each day! Doctors say that the bullet is too unsafe to remove so they decided to just leave it, hoping everything will heal properly. Thank you so much for everyones donations I know it means a lot to her!
Update: Lena just found out it costs her $35,000 in hospital bills. She is trying to get them to lower the price but in the meantime please donate!
