Giving back... 4 years!
Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes!! I love hearing from friends near and far- every one of you brings a happy memory with your wishes :)
As I did last year, I want to take this time to do some fundraising for a program that is very near and dear to my heart, the Mt. Sinai Breast Health Resource Program. They were an invaluable resource to me when I was sick, and I want them to continue to be able to support other women fighting their toughest battle. The program is NOT funded by Mt. Sinai and rely purely on donations. Last year, I raised just over $9,000 and could not have been more proud... and touched that you all contributed.
I'm setting a new goal for this year- $10,000! With your help, I know I can get there.
This coming October 7th will be 4 years cancer free- I look back now at such a stressful, scary time in my life and I'm so happy to be able to give back.
