On My Way to a Stronger Heart — Join Me

I’m facing something I never imagined—a life-threatening heart condition that means I need open-heart surgery by the end of July. My aortic root is enlarged to 48mm, far beyond the normal 25-35mm range, and without this surgery, I don’t know what the future holds.

The surgery will take place in Florida, far from my home in Paraguay, and I won’t have a place to stay while I recover. I’ll need to cover the costs of housing, food, transportation, and basic living expenses for at least six weeks after surgery
