COVID Oxygen Concentrators & Relief for INDIA

Sewa Canada International Aid Inc is a registered Canadian charitable organization, serving the world for the last 3 decades - in Health, Education, Social Development & Disaster Relief. All donations are Tax deductible in Canada.
The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India hard. The number of cases have risen exponentially within a week. With very high density of population, the healthcare system is struggling to keep up. With more than 3,417 deaths just yesterday (2 May) and more than 3 million active cases, this second wave requires an immediate response. Sewa and its organizations worldwide were one of the first to swing into action on the ground.
How is Sewa Canada helping?
Sewa International India has a network of its organizations & volunteers across all provinces/states of India. Currently during the 2nd wave, 500 and growing volunteers are serving in various forms, from a digital helpdesk, information campaigns around Plasma donation, distributing medical essentials to old-age homes, orphanages, providing isolation centres and arranging oxygen concentrators for the sick and at relief centres and cremation/last rites for the departed.
Cost:
CAD $600 for an oxygen concentrator. 200 oxygen concentrators have already been ordered by Sewa in India.
CAD $26 for each family essentials' kit (Ration, Basic Medicines, Masks, Sanitizers etc)
CAD $251 for Ration, Basic Medicines, Oximeter, Masks, Sanitizers etc. in community homes with 20-30 people, such as orphanages/old-age homes.
Sewa Canada International also plans to help setup and contribute to efforts to set up Oxygen plants and distribution system for medical oxygen at hospitals and Covid relief centres
100% of your donation is transferred to to the effort on the ground. All donations are tax deductible in Canada. Tax receipts will be issued automatically by GoFundMe via PayPal Giving Fund
