I want to start by thanking everyone who has taken the time to read, donate, or share this campaign. Your support has meant more than words can express.
When I first started this GoFundMe, my brother was homeless in Saskatchewan after escaping a deeply abusive relationship where he was emotionally, financially, and mentally manipulated. He had tried to leave many times, but threats of self-harm and psychological control kept him trapped.
Even after leaving, the damage followed him. Through it all, my brother has shown incredible strength. He doesn’t struggle with addiction—he doesn’t drink or use hard drugs—he simply hit rock bottom and needed a hand to rebuild.
Thanks to the kindness of this community, I am so happy to share some good news:
✨ He now has a permanent place to live. This is a huge step forward, and we’re so proud of him for not giving up. He’s putting in the work and moving one step at a time in the right direction.
That said, he’s truly starting from scratch. He still needs help with the basics—food, clothing, and household items—the things that make a place feel like home.
Every donation helps him take another step toward stability, and even if you can’t give financially, simply sharing this campaign could connect him to the support he needs. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with him during this chapter of his life. Your kindness is helping him rebuild with dignity and hope.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my brother, who is currently homeless in Saskatchewan.
He’s found himself in this heartbreaking situation after escaping a deeply abusive relationship—one where he was emotionally, financially, and mentally manipulated.
He tried to leave the toxic environment many times, but his partner used threats of self-harm and constant psychological control to keep him trapped. Even now, from a distance, the damage continues.
Despite everything he’s endured, my brother is doing his best to rebuild. He’s not struggling with addiction—he doesn’t drink, he’s never used hard drugs. He’s simply someone who has hit rock bottom and needs a hand to get back on his feet.
He’s starting from nothing—no home, no job, and no stable support system. But he hasn’t given up. I created this GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough to secure shelter, buy essentials, and begin again with dignity.
Every dollar helps. And if you can’t give, just sharing this post could be the one thing that leads him to the support he needs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read, share, or donate.
Your kindness could be the lifeline that helps my brother start a new chapter.
