Hello, My name is Nasreen. On what should have been the happiest time of the year, my friend Jackie lost her best friend and niece, Gloria. A day before thanksgiving, Gloria was diagnosed with COVID-19. She was hospitalized right away. For the last 4 weeks, she had been fighting and fighting hard. Unfortunately, on December 17, at the young age of 56, she lost her battle to COVID-19 and passed away.

 

Gloria was an amazing and a wonderful person. She was a hardworking woman, dedicated and a loving wife, loving mother of 3 & grandmother of 2, and a caring daughter. She was loved by all who met her. This is a very difficult time for her friends and family. The untimely passing of Gloria has left her friends and family devastated and incredibly sad. She will be missed by all who knew her.

 

Unfortunately, her brother Bob, who was diagnosed at the same time, is still in the hospital and fighting for his life. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as the family prepares to lay Gloria to rest.

 

Alot of us are counting our blessings at this time of the year. This beautiful, loving family is shattered. They are hurting and going through a very difficult time.
