Help with Tyler’s medical care

Hi everyone, my name is Emily Keppley and my best friend, Tyler Witt, was in a very serious motorcycle accident on Friday night/ Saturday morning. He was flown to shock trauma where we will stay for a long time. He was t-boned by a van, he hit the van’s windshield and was thrown 60 feet into a ditch on the side of the road. His best friend, Schulyer, witnessed the whole thing and was with him through it all. Tyler sustained a severely broken leg and broken ribs. His leg was broken in 70 different places, the main artery was cut and he has a lot of dead skin and muscle. The doctors are attempting to save his leg but they are still unsure of the outcome. BUT… he is alive and alert. Responding EMTs said he shouldn’t have survived but he is so strong and is a fighter. He has had one surgery already and has 3 more scheduled this week. Tyler works at a plant and will not be able to work for a very long time. I am setting up the fundraiser to help him and his family with the excessive medical bills that he will incur. Doctors are expecting a couple months in the hospital and then extensive physical therapy once he is released. I know Tyler and his family will be so appreciative of any help that you can give.
